Twitter turned five this week, giving rise to a host of commentary about the impact it’s had on the way we communicate. Vacuous, annoying, addictive, useful, informative and a great way to make links with like-minded and totally different people alike. Over the last two years I’ve been using it, I’ve found Twitter to be all of these things and more. This site for journalists outlines some of the best examples of how it has been used by the media to source information, generate stories and bring news to people. Here’s to the next five years; who knows where we will be then?
